Enough Said...

Shiva: "Is today Friday?"

Stalone: "Yeeeesss!"

Mainecoon Tornado Safety Drills

As you probably know, weather here was a bit unsettling lately.

We had quite few storms, including these which snap 50 feet trees in half in a matter of like 5 seconds. I am not kidding, I watched it happen through the bathroom window trying figuring our house has a windowsless safe spot, up until it was all gone (I need to work on evacuation plan for future).

Fortunately, nothing too damaging: few bushes and a tree are gone, and we can see our neighbors much better, I hope they enjoy it too.

Anyway... Apparently Salone worked up a safety plan on his own. This is what happened when tornado sirens went off yesterday:

Shiva didn't put too much thought into it (just like me few days before her) and was watching it all through the window:

Sorry for phone pictures, we didn't have much time to arrange light and get big camera out to shoot these.

Cats in the Kitchen

In attempt to follow up my previous post on "Do you allow your cats on the table?" topic.

As some of you probably know, I have a cooking site - EnjoyYourCooking. I post a new recipe there pretty much every saturday for 4+ years now...

To make recipes more descriptive and easier to follow, I include photos to each step. The process of setting up scenery, light, background and making photos would probably be long and boring if I didn't have helpers. Cat helpers that is.

They make sure that all ingredients are up to high standards of EYC, everything is in order and such... I honestly couldn't do this without them. See for yourself:

Coons, Tabletop Position

Do you allow your cats on the table? Ha-ha. I think that the right question to ask here (when it gets to cats) is: Do your cats allow you to the table?..

And answers will vary...

We may need to think on getting a bigger table if cats plan to grow any bigger...

Happy Friday Everyone!

Stalone, The Mebius Cat

By Stalone, the maine coon

Stalone, as many other cats besides him, loves to lay in various spine challenging poses. Or at least that is what I think every time I look at him doing something like following:

Back paw fists are optional, but still are so cute.

By the way, this ledge is on a second floor level, along the main hallway, with no rails, or such... Cats love it, of course...
